Emergencies that may threaten the life or health of an individual can happen anywhere at any time. This page lists sites that will help us respond in an effective manner to health emergencies.

Luke 10:33-34 "When he saw him, he had compassion on him. And went to him, and bound up his wounds."

This site was created by Thinkquest. They are well known site for researching poisonous animals or plants and received a School and University online reward. They made this to warn people what kind of things can threaten to our lives. Poison can be related to both physical component of health and first aid. Poison are substances that can cause disturbances to organisms usually by chemical reaction or other activity on the molecular scale, when a sufficient quantity is absorbed by an organism. They used a picture of creatures for us to know what kind of creature could be detrimental. I think the Christian value is not giving devil a foot hold (Eph 4:26-28). If we know where we could see these kinds of creatures, we should stay away. If we are going to be tempted by the devil, we should stay away. This site left out what needs to be done if we are poisoned.

Tony Plohetski made this website to show how EMS system tells supervisors where ambulances may be needed to fill in gaps in an emergency situation. This article held my attention by showing how computerized maps and system do brilliant jobs in predicting where ambulances will be needed to be based on previous data and records. This article shows how people's lives are important, and how a person's life in an emergency situation can be depended on response time. The shorter response time is, the higher percentages and more advantages of saving a person's life are provided in emergency situations. This article does not clearly support Christian value, but it briefly mentions people's lives are valuable and an immediate aid is needed in an emergency situation. The author of this article tells what kind of technological advantages EMS has and uses in emergency situations to save more people's lives.

This article discusses CPR. They say that there is not a significant difference between CPR with mouth to mouth and CPR without it. Without mouth to mouth the risk of catching a deadly disease is far less. It sounds like more people would be interested in CPR if this article is true.
